Important Instructions
1. As per Indian Income Tax rules, a donor with Indian passport is required to add their Aadhar and PAN number in case they wish to receive the 80G tax-exemption certificate.
2. Donations to Students Helping Allegiance Sodality (SHAS) are eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961. This tax exemption is valid for Indian donors.
3. All donations will be acknowledged, and donors will receive regular communication from SHAS about its programmes and activities.
4. We spend funds responsively, and we always ensure that the donor’s funds are allocated to pro-grammes that improve access to children with developmental disabilities and to mental healthcare for people belonging to different age groups.
